This really doesn't suprise me too much. He didn't look that great at all at the World Supercross in Holland, and they said it shouldn't have anything to do with him not being used to the new bike, because he'd had a few races under his belt.

Cocky or not, he will always be my favorite rider. I have always tried to be smooth instead of trying to be fast. Riding fast is a bi-product of smooth. All you have to do sometimes is slow down to go faster.
Mac has his name next to smooth in the dictionary. That is what I always liked about him. You hardly ever see him crash like Ricky and Travis. He is as fluid as it gets on a SX track.
He will be missed.
