Snowflake was my only 2002 Whiplash race. Been living in Vegas on job site 10 months of 2002 so I hung out with the SNDR & MRAN bunch a lot. Racers come and go - I remember you in Snowflake, ate your dust for quite awhile. The "Old" 700 bunch I started with in 2000 are mostly gone. Jim Chapman was coming on strong @ end of 2001. He got second behind me @ Parker Grand Prix & kept getting faster after that. Looks like you found the throttle also with a couple of recent wins. "Congrats" I should be in the 50 & over class this year but going to hang around in the 700's for the few races I plan to attend. See ya in Mexico - Got that big bore 4 stroke of mine ready to go. 1999 Honda 600XR - Went to Western Honda in Jan 2000 to buy the new 650 but they were not available so I'm the proud owner of the "LAST" 600 sold. Race Tech Suspension - Pro Circuit Exhaust - 11-1 High Compression piston with 15/45 sprocket set up. Speed checks around 105mph. (Hope my wife does not read this)My company bought me a 2003 dirt bike for a bonus but I don't get it for 2 more weeks. Anxious to ride something lighter for fun single track stuff. That's why you pulled me in the start @ Snowflake :D I needed that 15 tooth countershaft, made me eat yur dust the whole first lap till I crashed in the track lube they were spraying before the start finish ;)

I believe we started together. I was aboard a XR650R #724. You outran me through the big right hander just out from the start line. I was going what the @#$$ that 600 ain't sposed to hang with the 6fidy, much less out run it :D Shoulda worked on my setup more, the gearing was stock, I did hang in there for third.

Third is good. I'm not in to winning all of them. I got fifth but made the mistake of stopping to pit and complain about heat cramps and arm pump to everyone in the pits. Lost some time for sure. Could barely hang on to the bars the last lap. My pill # was like 17 or 18 and started near the back of the pack. I think a 650 was next to me but all I know is never saw him again after first two miles. Come say hello if you go to Lake Pleasent race. I met Phil #611 in Mexico last weekend. Plan on inviting him with us for some fun riding in the next few weeks - your welcome to join us. Later 747

It was me, I didn't pit, Kyle Beshaw lapped me 1/4 mile short of the start/finish, I wasn't tired, I was phyced up for the 5th lap, then I was bummed. BTW: If that 600 is beating you up, let Randy @ http://www.motoworksmx.com/ at it.
