I saw on another sight a review forum for quad accessories. It helps to know what others are running and some of the pitfalls of some products out there. A lot of people including myself use the "General" section for this, but that tends to get a bit out of hand sometimes. Take a look at this:

I like the concept, a lot. Big question, how do we ensure a high level of quality of reviews. Do we gather a review team? Do we allow any member to provide a review? Give me your thoughts.

Shannon, check the reviews over at East Valley Trail Riders. http://evtr.pitbull-racing.com and click the review link. I have it set up for moderator and up approval. The review is submitted and then approved. It doesn't show immediately

sure, why not... I dont mind takin the lead....
I would recommend shannon, that there be no reply on the "product review forum. This may sound harsh, but it would be nice to see no postjacking (useless chatter) on this one.... Some will argue how would someone else who had a bad experience post their thoughts, I think all that can be done on the General forum.

You have a good point. However, others may want to ask questions, add additional information and such. How about this. All of the posts in that section be moderated. This will prevent post-jacking and chatter. What cha think?

Hey Shannon, another thing about the reviews over there. We use a combination of comments (moderated) and then the ability to rank a review (1 - 5) with/without a comment.

Shannon, the exriders site encourages companies to submit their products for review. Do you want to consider doing this? I do like to stir things up.

Would a fillout form be appropreiate?? Rather than just freestyle writing, perhaps to simplify things, we could have a line for name of product, another line for discription of product, followed by opinions of product, and a rating factor, (1-10) good to bad. I think the discription and opinions perhaps should be limited in character size should it become a problem.
