I am gonna try to make the feburary lake pleasant run.... It all depends on if I get my houser +3 long travel a-arms, lonestar axle and elka shocks in or not. If not I will have to start in March....
Phil, do you know if points can be carried over if you were to switch classes?? I am trying to decide what is better for me.
If I should wait and get my racing suspension done or just run bone stock, for the feb run so I can start racking up points in march instad of april. I know they will want me to run the 900 class first before being fitted for a class and I hate to be underscored because of a stock quad versus a modded quad... What are your thoughts on this??

Just a note, you race with your class but you score points in your division.
Example, Phil is racing class 600, I am racing class 700, we are both in division +40
So you have to figure out if switching classes will cause you to switch divisions.
Best is to call Whiplash and ask them. :)

The Cinders is quad friendly? Did you fall and smack your head in the sand? ;) I was wishing I was on a bike over those squared off whoops near the powerline road. I'd have to give Vulture Mine the toughest race award though, just because it's usually HOT.

Race the stocker! Many race stock quads, especially first time racers. It's a really technical race to so the extra suspension wouldn't help a whole lot anyways, although a little extra ground clearance helps in a few spots. Hope to see you out there!

i'll be out there feb 1st and 2nd for the race, got my works proseries on at christmas, and i'm getting the rear shock re-sprung, and getting the skidplate problem fixed. Also, i got a clarke 5.5 gallon gas tank for christmas so i'm ready to go :D

Jeff, I fall & smack my head every time I ride[B)], in fact Tom Fisher told me I need to get a new helmet for the next race. I bought mine in April just B4 the Canyon race. It's all chipped-up and looks to be several years old. I could have used four wheels at the Cinders. Maybe I'll stop by walmart & pick up some training wheels for the next one![:p] So Jeff are you going to race the Lake Pleasent event, (pro class)?
Anyone going to the poker run for some practice on the 18th or 19th? I'm going to get Mike parks & his gang of madmen & we'll be out there on sunday the 19th. Hope you guys can make it.:D Phil # 611

Whats the Buzz on the Poker Run? Supposed to have new bike between the legs next Monday & would like to go break it in somewhere. Where is the info? El-Gato, you can ride the 600XR if you want on the 19th (if the new bike has arrived) 747

I signed up for Hieroglyphic yesterday since I was in the area. I traded in #150 for #21, Senior Pro. I think I stand a chance of finishing well at the more technical races (Lake Pleasant, Alto Pit), but usually get blown out of the dirt at the faster races. Guess I better get back to the gym.
We'll be out riding Hierogyphic this Sunday around noon, parking out by the rock at 11.5

It sure is pretty being brand new & all. Sitting in the family room shining in the morning sun. Bad timing though, caught some sort of cold or flu this week & staying home sick. Hope to be better for the Poker Run Sunday. Looking forward to squeezing my legs around that sexy machine. Sorry for the public E exposure BUT let's talk this weekend.
