Hey, Like I said Im new to all this, so dont laugh. What do you guys mean when you talk about gearing, how do I do it? Also Where can I find a high flow cage and air filter for a crf230? I cant find anything for my bike, is this just because it is new? My front fork is really really soft, Is there something I can do to stiffin the spings up? And last is a crf230 even a raceable bike, as long as it has some work done on it (Rejetting the carb, exhaust, airbox kinda stuff??) Thankyou very much- Tim[?][?][?][?]

New as in '03, that could be a problem but at the same time how much does it differ from earlier models, if you cant find any parts for a 03, but the bike is similar to a 02 or 01, the gets the parts for the earlier model.
You should have adjustment screws on the top and bottom of the front forks to adjust you compression and rebound.
As far as racing, I ride 4 wheels and cant help you in that department, but why not...
Changing you gearing relates to changeing the size of your sprockets. Hope this helps

2 more questions, I ve been riding a lot lately,(Almost every other day for a couple hours..) And my back tire is almost bald after two months of this,is this normal? Also Will cr or crf (450) graphics fit my bike.. Thanx..
