In Whiplash, PeeWees start at 4 years old. Not sure about SCORE.

In scoring aspect of whiplash, isn't the determination of which class you get placed in varied on how fast you can go in any given lap, or how consistance your lap times are?? I have been getting mixed opinions from different people on this one off the board and would like to get feedback here.

I have no limitations, only my quad has limitations......
Your class selection is determined on any given lap, it is determined by taking the FINAL time for the entire race. They will look at your total time and the total time for other racers in ALL classes to see were you would fit in. You could get stuck in dust or a pack and have a slow lap and smoke the course on the next lap. Who's to say which lap to take.
I don't think it is set in stone though. If they say you need to race in the expert class after your first race and you're not confortable, I don't think they can force you. You could probably talk your way down a few classes. Just tell them it's not safe to ride with much more experienced riders. When I started racing I got bumped rael fast. I went from beginner to expert in 4-5 races. I was very unconfortable racing the expert class with less than a year of experience.
