Hi all.
First off I duno if this is the right place to post this.. but anyhow.

Me and a friend are planning on taking a trip to Phoenix AZ this weekend. So we were looking for any good places, Dunes in particular, near that area to ride quads on.
We are comming from CA. so we have no idea of any places that are worth going to on our short stay in Phoenix.
Also, if anyone has any info on permits required, or anything of that sort, I'd be very thankfull if y'all can help me out.
Thanx.

Hey man,
Your gonna pass right by the best dunes in this corner of the country.

Is being asymmetrical really so bad?

Previous posters are correct. (1) it's way to hot to ride anywhere near Phoenix right now Yesterday was 108 although supposed to cool off for the wekend it will still be above 100. (2) There are no Dunes in the Phoenix area. Most of the around town riding consists of hardpark rocky trail riding. There are a ton of places within an hour of Phoenix that provide this type of riding.

If Dunes is what your after depending on your route to Phoenix as one poster mentioned you may very well pass right by them.

Just off the I-8 freeway "smack-dab" betweeen Yuma,Az. and ElCentro,Ca. is the Imperial County Sand Dunes. Plenty of opportunities to ride there. Although it may be a little to warm to ride there noow as well. We are still agood month away from start of riding season.

Ah.. thanx everyone.
This is sort of a last minute trip. so we didnt plan anything. But yeah.. we were thinkin of going by Yuma if necessary. So I guess we'll be going to the Imperial County Dunes.

Thanx y'all.
