would this be a good spectator race...or even for doing a checkpoint or something?? i would like to see this race, but don't want to waste my time if i can't see anything. anyone else going??

If you are going you can spectate at Ozborn wash. You can see for a few miles and it is a fast section. There is also some other places, but check with BITD when you get there. Becareful where you go because when we were there racing the Parker 250 the BLM was walking around looking for pit passes. If you do not have a pit pass the will write you a ticket. BITD might have extra ones to give but they ran out of them when we were there. If you can find an old pit pass off of someone that will work also It be good race to go to. If I didn't have to work I was going also.

BITD is mostly just high speed racing, isnt it?? not too much technicality compared to whiplash??

Yo Ben - U guys raced the BITD 250 right. Is the next BITD race in Parker the Gran Prix? Did not follow their schedule & thought the Gran Prix was later in the year. If so will they go out in the wash or stay on the moto-x (sort of) track which is a 6 mile loop? I won that race in 2001 with Whiplash & wanted to to BITD but nobody seems to know how Casey was going to set it up.
The next race in Parker is the 425 truck and buggy race. The next bike race for BITD is Adelanto 22-23 of Febuary. The Parker bike race was January 4-5 03. Sorry you missed out, it was a good time.
