It never hurts to have a State Trust land permit which you can get info at http://www.land.state.az.us/programs/natural/rec_offroad_permit.htm. It's $15 per year and allows use of a huge chunk of AZ land. A lot of the stuff at Lake Pleasant area is BLM but some around that area is trust land.

Never met a CR500 I didn't like.

It's also a good way to get counted by the state as a user / supporter of the OHV community

The fines of getting caught on state trust land is quite immense to say the least.....

You can get a State Land permit that's good for the whole family for just $5 more ($20). That's the way to go if you've got more than one rider in the family.

The area out by mm 11.5 is a mix of both BLM and State Trust Land. If you're not sure exactly where you're going to be at all times, you should take the safe, responsible line and purchase the State Land permit. Trust me, you'll get plenty of use out of it around the state.
