I will be getting a dirt bike soon and was wondering if a 1995 rm 125 with fmf gold series pipe be able to handle Gorden Wells i think its called. Im a noob to dunes but have some experience on bikes and am not sure if i can get a 125 to dune or if i should try a 250 but am unsure of my abilites to handle that size of a bike.

thanks

We were out at midway/buttercup with a friend and he had a Ktm 125 w/ paddle. He could go any ware, but the bike was working hard all the time.

A 250 would probably be a better bet, like whuggs1 said, a 125 can make it but its going to work really hard...i have a 125 and -wont- take it to the dunes..im still dunes'less[B)]:(:(

Now that sounds like a good deal......Get a 250. You will grow into it and they have 5 gears, You Don't have to use ALL of them while you learn to control it.

I think that would be a better choice.....My friend bought an RM125 (first bike Ever).....within 2 months, he needed/wanted more power.
Save yourself some hassle and money (trying to get rid of the 125).
Just my 2 pennies.

That price is very good if the bike is in decent shape. For that price, if it runs, it's worth it....haha
I sold my 1993 YZ250 last year for $1900. It was only in decent shape and was going to need a new Top end in the next 6 months......was getting kinda loose.

I think that Honda is a great deal.
PS--Stick with a 250, you will learn quickly how to handle it. No problems there.
Good luck....[8D]

I Mounted a paddle tire on my 01 YZ250 to Glamis in april and it was able to climb anything I pointed it at and cruised around almost effortless. I saw a couple of smaller two wheelers out there but they sounded like they were always riding the pipe to keep up. I liked it but everyone I ride with has quads so Iam selling mine.
