We are heading to Midway the 20 and 21st, Anyone else planning on be there ?

We are going to wait until Thanksgiving and will be in the Ogilby area somewhere. I am sure somebody will be going.

Is this the same road Buttercup is on and what is the fee for a weekend pass ?

Fee is $25 good for a week, if you think you may be going to to the Dunes more, a Season pass is the best value at $90.00.

Yes just down farther about Midway.....LOL
I will be in Ogilbie over Tday. Frying a turkey with some stuffing hush puppies and some sweet potatoe fries. Drop by and say hi.

I am going over that weekend to stay for the whole week (SAND, SAND & more SAND). Most likly will be on the north end at Glamis, unless my group wants to go south! We'll have to wait and see.
Wayne, wifey and I will be there! Unfotunately not until the following Tuesday through Saturday. Oh yea and we'll be at Ogilby Rd. not Midway. Sorry bud, Thanksgiving is a big week out there we're looking forward to it.
Maybe we can hook up between Thanksgiving and X-mass.:)[:0]

Well, the decision has been made. I will be at Buttercup for the week starting on the 20th, with the rest of my group coming in little by little all week long. If you’re in the area look me up. 37ft Rampage 5th wheel and a white 03 Chevy HD2500
We will have a group there that weekend (19th-21st) but will be up in Glamis. How long is the ride from the washes down to where you will be? [:p]
Will also be there those dates ,not quitw sure where we are camping yet gordons well more than likely..

The Wife & myself are planning on hitting Midway that same W/E. Unless something changes... That looked like a real good "off" W/E.
Halloween was a Zoo .....:(

Thought I had learned my lesson over the years, stay away from the big W/E's.... No, I had to be so excited to go duning the first trip of the year we went over the Halloween W/E. Big mistake....
That's it ! I will never, ever, ever do that again.... Until next time....
So, maybe we can meet up over the 20-21st.
We will be getting there Saturday AM. Will keep an eye out for ya.......:D Look for a black Expedition,Warrior,Scrambler 500 and a tent.

It looks like the best we can do is cut out & head for the dunes mid day Friday. Stay Sat & Sun until mid day....
Silver Quad Dodge V10 - Protrac trailer. Not sure, but probably CR250 / 400EX / Kawasaki KFX400 for bikes.

Back from an outstanding dune trip with Kim & Wayne. Great dune riding, great company , great weather - what more can you ask for. No break downs, no problems... Just one little crash... Kim was trying to "spray Sand" and pulled a tight "Uey" on the side of a very soft BIG Bowl & flipped that big 500 over. She came out of it like a true sport ! Sand head to toe....[B)] more worried about the Polaris than herself -- That's a die hard duner..:) Everything was good to go... She will have braging rights on a nice bruise in a day or so....[:0]
Great trip - one to put in the "best of" book ! [8D][:I]
Thank you Kim & Wayne for a nice dune trip ! Hope to do it again for sure !
Wayne is going to need a faster quad to keep up with Kim real

I had a BLAST and am ready to go again. Thanks for a great time, great company and wonderful riding... I am ready to go again.. [:p]

Sure was ! :D[8D] We went through some pretty good rain on the way home. If you went thru the same - Kim's 500 got washed of all the evidence....[B)] No pic's to prove anything ever happed either..[B)] Glad the weather stayed good for us while at the dunes. Looking at the Calander - Dec. 10-12th looks like a good dune weekend to me....[:p] If the weather is good that should be a great "off" W/E.
Take care of Kim & get her back in dune shape right away !;)

By the way - Tell Kim I looked "crash" up in he dictionary. She's right, the deffinion for crash does not fit her "situation". She was more in the "accident" catagory = "Something occurring unexpectedly or unintentionally" "An unexpected, undesirable event"

Yes I'm sure it was unexpected and undesirable and quite a site to wacth, Think it scared me more than it did her. I'm just glad it has happened and know she can take a beating and the Quad too ;)
Great weather ,a litlle rain sunday but friday and sat were great.
