What tires work best on the cinders for dirtbikes? I'm looking for traction not durability(no paddles).

Thanks,
Travis

There will be snow for a few more weeks. I grew up in Flagstaff about 5 minutes from the cinders. It may look good from a distance, but if you come around a shaded area there is ice and snow. It sucks bad to hit that tapped out. If you want good weather wait until the end of may, then the nights become awesome with mid seventies during the day. A great place to ride, but tears up equipment bad. Watch out for the tree roots they are serious back, wrist, wheel, and rib killers.

Have fun be safe.

Travis, any tire with big nasty knobbies works the best. IRC m58 is a good one. I ran it there last year, and it has great straight line traction, plus the side bit is good.

I live next to them right now. The very best riding is right after snow/rain. Your tires hook up much better and there isnt anybody else around.
