i have a V8 Explorer XLT i can haul up to 6900lbs. where should i get a toy hauler and what would be the best?

Your vehicle might be rated for 6900 pounds but your vehicle won't like it. Prepare for a new tranmission down the road. There are different brands of ultra light toyhaulers with a dry weight of 4500 - 5000 pounds. After you add the water, fuel, personal belongings, a quad or two you are going to be adding at least 1000 additional pounds. You would be wise and try to get a different pulling vehicle.

Griz is right 4500 trailer dry, 50 gal water 484lb, 600lb utility quad, 200lb gear,food ,bev.Ad the weight of 2 batteries 30lb each? and 2 7.5 lp tanks @ 41lb each. next thing your at or close to max weight.

I feel your pain. I had a Yukon rated at 7700 pounds... They don't go far. I traded it in.
Look at Carsons fun runners. They make a 16 footer which is light but isn't plush.
If you have a family to bring it won't cut it.
