About how long would it take to get to the top of Four Peaks on an ATV? Also,from the Rolls parking lot which road do you take to get there?
Head east on Four Peaks road until the road splits. Make a left & follow it to the top. If you turn right, that road will take you to Brushy Basin/Cottonwood Camp. It usually takes me about 2-2 1/2 hours to make it to the top. WATCH for traffic.

Jerry has the time down about right. It is about 18 miles to the top.

When I took my quad up there, ( 88 trx 250r w/desert tank) I would have to put the bike on reserve the last mile back to the rolls parking lot...Dont know of anyone elses experience with fuel distances......Nowdays I dont worry about fuel,, I carry bout 22 gallons and can make the run up in a little over 30 min....( I never go any faster than I know I can stop):D

My CR250 will get me to the top in 35 minutes and and back down in 40 because I tend to coast and have to slow down more in the corners. I easily do the whole trip on a single tank of gas. I imagine a quad will take longer.
There is also a real cool trail that will take you from the Four Peaks turn off to Saguaro Lake. It's a lot more technical though.
