View Full Version : Buttercup/Gordons 4-8 - 4-10
Might be our last trip out for the season. Looks like the weather is going to cool down to mid-70s with wind this weekend so it looks perfect if it stays that way. Anyone else going to be out there? We aren't sure where we're camping yet, Gray's Well maybe, but we're starting to lean towards Buttercup culdesac or Gordon's Well.

We just got back last week and it was definitely warm. I know this weekend is going to be cooler but we are done for the season.

I want to go but the boss said we have a freaking wedding to go to ,right in the middle of the weekend, man that sucks

Just got back last weekend. Was awsome. Hopefully when you go the wind won't be blowing and the sand gets a chance to settle a little. WAAAAAAAAAAAY to much powder for my liking. Powder is fun untill it gets deeper then 4 inches.
Just got back tonight. Awesome weekend. I couldn't believe how empty Buttercup was. The wind blew constantly but it was nice and cool out for riding. The dunes have changed since I was there 3 weeks ago. Not as many round bowls, lots of steep and soft, angled bowls. Great jumps everywhere. No inuries for my wife or I. We brought along a friend's EZ Go golf cart with a 6" lift. Fun seeing how far into the dunes you could make it. I'll post a link to pics when I get them up. I think I may not be able to resist going back next weekend. [8D]
