Any advise on camping and riding in the Woods Canyon Lake Area? We like to boondock in our motor home and do leasure trails on quads. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

There is nothing but fire roads to ride on up there, and your bike must be street legal to ride on them. I have researched it. You might find an unmarked trail or two that may have been used for hunters--but there is nothing up there that I know of.

You definitely need to stay away from the Lake area if your bikes are not street legal. It is posted quite well along the 300 road in this area. If you head west toward Bear Canyon Lake you might find more riding opportunities north of the rim road.

If you go up there take 300 back to 34 turn right (north) theres plenty of campimg and lots of riding. We go every year up there you won't be real close to any lake. I do a guys only weekend every year with freinds and we manage to clock on 100-200 miles on quads. We usually camp off of 75a it's back there about 15 miles.
