View Full Version : I couldnt find Four peaks parking lot HELP!!!!!!

I just moved to Arizona and I heard about the rolls ohv Four Peaks riding area. I went north on 87 over gilbert rd over shea and up to Fort Mcdowell Rd by OUT OF AFRICA near the Casino.
Did I pass it or not far enough..??
I passed some Sand and gravel entrance that was South of Shea on the east side. HELP ME PLEASE.

Not far enough.
Four Peaks Road is still another 5 minutes north of the Saguaro Lake turnoff, which is 5 - 10 minutes north of Shea Blvd.

so a little further up. the freakin lady at the gas station told me i passed it so i went back and got fed up so i went home.
Is there a sigh for it...???

Yes there is a sign. After you pass the Saguaro lake turnoff it will be on your right side. Its a ways out there but good riding.

It's about 3-4 miles past Bush Hwy. on 87.
......Just before the highway starts climbing into the mountains.

Hi All!
This is my first time posting to this board.
I was searching for more information and photo's of Four Peaks and the Mine.
I saw this site and noticed that alot of you have gone or are going up there.
May I post something to you all?
PLEASE PLEASE be very careful up there. In 1988 my only sibling and my best friend, my brother was killed there at the mine. That area is very tough. My Brother was killed by a 5 1/2 ton boulder that crushed him. Please see the link listed here. It is about my brother Kelly.
I dont want to see any of you killed there. Several have died up there since his death including a security gaurd and 3 of 4 hikers that were caught in a rock slide.
