CAMP WOOD directions ??

I found some directions to camp wood posted by Bunk, I tried to locate the area via the direction on a Prescott Forest map and couldn't pin point it. The map doesn't list roads FR#'s or names in this perticular area, do I need a regular street. RICH

not sure which map you are using, but from prescott, its williamson valley road (county road 5) north to county road 68 (about a mile past simmons). take 68 about 15 miles west. its the old location of the camp wood ranger station. (344830N 1125230W (about)).

Thanks Kyle. I was looking at a PNF map, Its the big fold out one from the USFS, I believe. I'll take a look at a road map and see if it's any better with listing named/county roads. RICH

The PNF map does label Camp Wood and shows most of the trails 'round there.

North of Prescott is Chino Valley.
Camp Wood is almost (slightly north) due west from Chino Valley.
