Well, we were loading up and Mary had already put the camera in the truck when I caught a 7 pounder.:(
It was the weirdest looking fish I've ever caught! It had 4 legs and a big ol' shell! He put up a really tough fight on my ultralite pole.

His shell was pretty hard actually. He was a great big sucker. He'd been eating my worms all morning long, and once he pulled my pole about 10 feet from shore while I was casting a lure. I jumped in after it but he had let go already. I had no idea it was a turtle at that point, just thought I missed a huge fish. Finally I hook into the roof of his mouth and brought him in. I was pretty surprised to see a turtle. I thought I had me a big ol'bass!

I don't know how to clean a turtle, so I put him back. If there was any Asian guys around, I would've asked.
