I want to know if anyone has gotten suspension work done by Randy McKey in Chandler and if so was it good work?

The verdict is in, according to the reviews of his work over on the goazriding site, the guy walks on water.
I contacted him and his prices are better than I suspected, $500.00 (off bike, $560.00 if you bring him the bike) for the fronts and rear, and he will join you at the track for final tuning and to teach you how to adjust the suspension correctly.
He has everything in stock and will turn around the same day. I just about $h*t myself.
And as I ALWAYS say "support the local guy"

It's not the bike that makes the rider fast, it's the rider that makes the bike fast!
No, he owns motoworksmx in Chandler

What kind of valving does he use?
Race Tech is the most common type of aftermarket hardware for suspension upgrades.

I hate Racetech, they take a cookie-cutter approach to suspension tunning. They did the forks on my CR500 and they sucked, they were WAY too harsh and after sending them back and forth twice I said screw it and them, then the bike was stolen at which point I was the one gettin' screwed

I've been sponsored by Race Tech for the last few years, and I like it. I send my stuff straight to Rich Watchorn who is or was the race team manager. At first he wanted to due just the regular old valing, but we worked together to really iron out the best setup for me.
He helped me out alot and did some testing with me to get it just right.
The first time, like you said was horrific. Every rider is different. They vale it the same for every one, motocross and desert.
You have to be very specific when you explain what you want, and then it still may take a few tries to get it perfect.
I don't suggest going to anyone that uses Race Tech parts and claims to be a certified Race Tech dealer. Bad Idea.
Send it straight to the man.

Hahahaha <img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>, honestly everyone that has had work done by you is very happy with it. You're local, with good prices and fast turn around and from what I've read on your site and the emails we've exchanged, I sent them from work, I like what I'm hearing and will be contacting you when the funds are available. :)

I have Motoworks suspension on 2 bikes. I tell everyone about my suspension and encourage everybody to give him a chance. He has by far the best suspension and assistance that I have ever seen. He is available 24 hrs a day to help out w/ questions. He will also ride the track w/ you to help fine tune your suspension. Who else really does this w/ you?
No Randy does not use Race Tech. I do know that he used stock valves on both of my YZ's.
Read his website at www.motoworksmx.com to read about his work and why he does what he does.
Once again, this is in my opinion the best suspension in the market to us AZ riders.
