I need to know how many miles the average person gets on one tank of gas on their bike? I am trying to figure out the spacing for the gas stops on this next enduro, so all your input would be most helpful.

22 - 25 in the 500
you only get 20 to 25 miles per tank?

no, I get a little closer to 100 on a tank ;)
the 22 - 25 is per gallon which is probably easier to use to figure legs of an enduro
I get 25 miles to the gallon when I'm really getting it on in the desert. I have a 3.1 gallon tank = 75 miles. However, I NEVER go more than 50 miles before I pit. You never know when you will get lost or crash or something dumn like that and waste extra gas. If you plan on a 70-75 mile pit stop Murphy's law WILL bite you on the bum. Plan on no more than 50 mile gas intervals. People with stock tanks can only do 25-30 miles. Rule of thumb is never force racers to go more than 50 miles AND provide an alternate pit location at 25 miles.
