Does anyone here ride in the Northwest Peoria area such as Jomax Rd. and the Agua Fria Riverbed or the restaurant area on the Carefree Highway? Just so i know what you ride and who not to roost ever day. I live right out there. We are trying to get some sort of marked course or singletrack set up with organized riding. Also some sort of organized drags down 107th Ave. off of Jomax Rd. Let me know! [^]

I live in the same area, but I do not ride the area at 107th and Jomax very often (big silt pile, lots of trash). I think your idea of organized drags on 107th is not a good one. Technically, I do not think you are supposed to ride on that road at all if your vehicle is not licensed for the street. Fortunately, the Sheriff's dept does not seem to enforce this very strongly, but nothing will bring them crashing down on that area faster thatn drag racing quads. I'm sure the folks who live up on the east bank of the river wash would be the first to complain.

I believe there are consistent Sand Drags taking place up at Canyon Raceway.

Its not worth bragging, I have done my fair share of dragging down that road..... but I also known a guy who got hit by a truck going 50 mph on that very road back in february..... I know I wont ride that road no more....

I have no limitations, only my quad has limitations......

Does anyone know who owns what land out there? How organized are we wanting this area to be? Signs, maps, kiosks like Scottsdale or Apache Jct?
