Right now your best bet is the state land south of the freeway and west of ironwood - around etmoto park. Im still trying to sort out the mile Marker 201 thing - that is a great area - but some of it is closed. Also - pm crfrider - he can tell you abou the cliche pits by his house. Have fun!

The ares vpihlman referred to as cliche pits is at the end of brown road(though it is not called brown road out there.) I rode the area for the first time yesterday nice area little confusing with what is state trust land and private property. Someone has made a nice little track in this area. some sand washes and some hill climbing alot more to explore I did not have alot of time but will definetly like to try that area again.

The cliche pits are a different part...Not where you guys rode at. The cliche pits are across highway 88.

There is some awesome riding around Queen Valley and Florence Jct.
I believe Whitford Cyn and the Coke Ovens are listed in the Trail Guide.

Oh yes and most all of the land in that area is State Trust
You will need a permit.

The area at the end of brown road (Lost Dutchman is what it is called in AJ) can also be accessed by taking the Mountain View exit off the freeway and going north to lost dutchman - it is State Trust land. Nice little area.
