Grizzly Bear pics

A good friend of mine is a Game & Fish officer for the State of Montana. He has sent me several pics throughout the years of many black & grizzly bears. He just sent me pics of a recent grizzly trapping encounter. What a cool job!!!

Jeff Jr & I are planning a Montana hunt next fall (probably a few days of game birds, fishing & a few antelope or elk days) (Grizzly bear are protected)

My wife and I are looking at moving to Livingston, Montana... once I can switch careers to something municipal. There's just not enough stuff left to kill in Arizona.

Thanks Jeff! I saw two when I was up in Alaska years ago. One was in Denali park. We were on the tour bus, it ran across the road, up a hill, turned around and stood up. Priceless.

The other one was out in the wild. We were salmon fishing. My cousin and I are walking up the bank of the river. He pulls me down to the ground. There is a grizz across the river about 50 yards away. It walked up to the rivers edge and put one paw in. I'm thinking to myself, "If this thing reaches in and grabs a fish, I'm gonna sh!t"....then it's head bolts up, takes a sniff, then boom, gone up into the bush. Damn. I didn't sleep worth a crap the next several nights (our canp was only a few hundred yards away).
