View Full Version : Riding trails in Sierra Vista?
Happily I just moved back to AZ. I bought a home in Glendale, but I work most of the week down in Sierra Vista. i see mountains with trails all around and wondered if anyone was familiar with the area and the trails? Thanks in advance. :)

I used to drive down there a lot, heading to Nogales, from IH-10...I suspect most of that is private land, you could probably just ask the property owners if they would let you ride in their ranches...
There's also a couple of lakes were you could just go for fishing and I even saw there Jet-Skis..

north of senoita, both sides of highway 83 (i think) are great riding areas. in fact, the road from whetstone to sonoita you can see some gates to the north that go into the range area, i used to stage there and ride up to I-10 or to the west into the santa rita mountains. the road from sointa to I-10 also had some nice staging areas.
my favorite place to stage was at point 5 on this map. you can ride under the highway to the east side and run all through the BLM land as well. if you run the pipeline, you can head up and under I-10.

IS THERE ALOT OF RIDING IN TOMBSTONE AND ST. DAVID AREA OR IS THERE TOO MUCH PRIVATE LAND? IS THERE TRAILS BETWEEN BISBEE, BENSON, TOMBSTONE ETC?
