WE WERE LOOKING INTO GOING TO EMERALD COVE RESORT ON THE COLORADO RIVER BY PARKER. WE WILL BE STAYING AT EMERALD COVE RESORT WITH OUR TOY HAULER. HAS ANYONE BEEN TO THIS OHV AREA? WE HAVE STREET LEGAL QUADS SO WE CAN RIDE OVER TO THE OHV AREA IF IT IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE RESORT.

I just received tons of information regarding the riding near Parker (outside of what has already been discussed). While I know that you have indicated that you are staying at an RV Park in Parker. I thought that I would toss this out there for anyone reading that might be interested in riding near Parker/Havasu.

I now have Trail Guides and maps on the following OHV areas that are basically on the California side of 95, but they offer some KILLER riding opportunities and really are on the border and just northwest of Phoenix by a few hours.:

Eagle Pass
Turtle Mountain
Kingston Wash
West Well

These are all very deserving of a trip at some point. Please PM me if you'd like any further information and I will put you in touch with right people for the maps and information.

I stay at Emerald Cove all the time. Perfect place, right on the water and across the street lots of riding. Take the skis and quads... heaven. We just hop on the quads cross the road. There's a trail that runs along the road up river about 1/2 mile then goes into a large wash, which opens up into tons of trails. We found a lot of old mines and some have open pits that are unmarked so watch were you are going. You can get up river a few more miles and there are sand hills to play in. Have fun, maybe I'll see you at Emerald Cove some time.
