It's in the mountains north of Tucson, also closed at this time. A Guide to Arizona Back-roads and 4-Wheel Drive Trails has this trail in it, along with GPS coordinates and a map. The book can be found at most book stores. The trail in question is rated extreme.

Like Redneck Rider says it is closed, but you can access it from behind The town of Catalina on the south end or behind the town of Oracle on the north end. When it opens back up that is.
I believe the Oracle side is much funner, because it's a longer distance to actually reach the canyon (5-6 miles maybe).
The Catalina side is only a couple miles away from the canyon.
I don't remember the exact route or street names that you use to get there, but it's on the map.

From Tucson:
Head north on Oracle road US77. Golder Ranch Rd is about 12 miles from the intersection of INA and Oracle in Tucson.
Make a right on Golder Ranch Rd (EAST).
Make a left on Lago Del Oro. (NORTH)
Take lago Del Oro about 4 miles. You will see the Charleau Gap sign on your right.
It's a rough trail in some areas. Alot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rode this trail a few monthes ago. TOO many rocks for my taste. Not the best sport quad trail. Quadcrazy has the right direction to where we started.
My Raptor roams Southern AZ.
