I live near 201, and it has been closed. I found a way to get out there but I do not want to get fined or anything like that. I need to know if there are anymore places like 201, where you can ride forever and also find some good sized jumps

Be careful if you are accessing the 201 through the water retention canals - fences have been put up - and they arent always well marked. I guess it is back to trailering the bikes everywhere.
This is really so stupid - this area could of been done the same as 207 where you have to drive back 1/4 mile before stopping - i am sure something other than just dust is going on. $$$$$$ - time will tell.
For now - obey and be safe!!

Hey DirtDad, you first want to take the U.S. 60 east , stay on the 60 as it will curve and then your heading towards Gold Canyon. The #'s are Mile Marker's and you just look for either MM204 or go down about 3 miles for MM207,it will be on your right hand side and there's gates that are unlocked, open go in and shut them, it's state land so get a permit if you dont have one already. If you dont have one you have to go to the State Land Dept. there on 1616 Addams st. 2 blocks south of Van Buren, and go to the second floor. Hope this helps, oh ya the 201 is closed to motorized vehicles. Jeff

Thanks guys. I hit 207 this morning with the rugrats and they had a blast. (got my permit last week)

Does anyone know the scoop on the site that is south on Ironwood - under the power lines, before you get to ET motorpark?

I was out there thursday and there were a couple of guys riding around - no problem. But today the gates were freshly re-fenced and there are "no motorized vehicle" signs up.

Is this area officially closed?

According to the maps i received in September that area is officially closed. I was also told that once state land is closed for dust control issues it is never reopened. That is why it is very important that everyone fill out that survey under the forum "Pinal County Trails.....your input needed" We really need some more areas opened up. The 201 being closed in not just an inconvenience to us - it takes away a great freedom that my son and his friends enjoyed since before the closure they could access that area on thier own legally - now they have to wait for us to trailer their bikes to the 207. It makes me very sad for the teenagers that really enjoyed that area.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This would mean my night mare has begun and they finally posted that area at Ironwood. I will miss it dearly I wish I would have had time for a memorial service....
