Well, how did it go?
I heard it was hot.
Eric Brown (baja team mate) was out there on Friday. I got the message saturday. He wasn't impressed. He didn't like the track on his XR650.
He also said he turned into jerky in his gear at about 9am.

Very, after about 8:30 or so it got hot. I stayed until 11:00 and watched 'em run the utility quads around the main track. that was quite humorous <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I heard it was hot.
Ahh, that thing was ALL over the place. Was not at home at all on a track, reminded me of myself :)

I bet you didn't know that Eric Brown set a world record jump.
He jumped a canal, somewhere around 220 feet I think. It was broken (record) right after that.
He did it on a CR-500. He's one of those crazy dune jumpers. Until, of course, he crashed and almost died.
Actually he did die, a couple times, and they revived him in the 4-winged bird.
Crushed his throat on the cross bar.
He's not quite a jumper anymore, go figure.

Sorry to hear that. The more I ride other bikes the more I realize that the CR500 is not a very good motorcycle. At least not for me, I just wish I would've ridden some other bikes BEFORE i got sucked into the "Honda Hype" and bought that thing.

I meant that he did the jump on the CR500.
I don't remember what he was riding when he got hurt. I'm thinking it was a XR600, which would also explain why he crashed.
