Ok guys & gals The temps are lower so lets go riding! :D This will be the usual Mt. Ord route. We will meet at the Junction area at Beeline hwy & Bush hwy at 7:00. For those who want to meet at staging area go 1/2 past m/m 222, take left at the Mt. Ord exit, go 1.2 miles and take right at cattleguard follow road till you come to a split,we are going to the left {down} instead of up the hill this time. there is shaded areas down a little ways. It won't be more than a mile or so. We will grab the first good size one, or who ever gets there first. Be forewarned, This ride isn't for the novice Rider. It has claimed a number of experienced riders already. Bring Water, Tools, & Spare parts. ;)

the master plan is to check out this nasty hill that you can see from the highway. we never done it before so its all new to us. once we get to the top we can deceide if we want to continue or we can just hook up on one of the loops that we come to enjoy alot. the temps should be real nice for this area. i'm so looking forward to this. out of the past 3 months, i have only been out on the trails twice.not by choice believe me. i'm ready!

DANGIT! You guys know I love this ride (after all, I showed it to 250rDude..) but, I am in the middle of moving this weekend, My forks are leaking like a sieve, plus I can't ride on Sundays...Hows that for excuses.

redrooster you always do have some reason you can't make this ride. donnie and i are so glad you turned us on to this area. we can't get enough. you should see the single track we found. you might already been on it since you know the area. you really do need to hook up with us soon.
to answer your question dc500r, it's about 23 miles. hope you can make it.

Hey guys, lets try and do it on the 11th? My Cousin, KTMbob (who came with us last time) is itching for a ride. Maybe my forks will work until then. I'll just add more oil. and fix it later...haha

Redrooster, I wouldn't worry about leaky forks, It's not you'll need much suspension on that trail anyway & they'll only leak till there's no oil left. ;)

I road on every single trail on that entire hill, and only clocked about 30 miles on it. If you guys get more then that let me know. If you take the first side track to the right it gets fun but it dead ends near a cool campsite. There is a big tree over there that got struck by lightning. Check it out. Last time I was there there was a bunch of fire fighting tourches and cans of diesel fuel laying around.

Had a Great Ride on Sunday. Mark, Will, Kevin, Brett & I didn't know what we were in for. We ran the trail Backwards, starting from the corral area. This way is much more difficult & thats an understatement. ;) It's amazing to find out whats was easy one way can turn into a mandatory walk section the other way round. No major breakdowns but low trail gearing is a must on this Singletrack. A couple off-camber loose sections proved very difficult to negotiate. ;) Survival mode here (Speaking for Myself of course [:I]). B+ ride. I'll post a few pics tonight. :D Thanks to all that made this Ride.
