View Full Version : Singletrack fun run - Back On
NO QUADS - you're too fat, you won't fit :D
B+/A level ride, bring water, trail snacks, tools, tire repair kits, etc... NOT for the faint of heart and it will test your stamina.
Meet at MM212 @ 7:00AM
Riders meeting @ 7:30AM
Hit the trail @ 7:45AM
Plan for 30 - 35 miles of nice singletrack (Singlertrack for you Donnie ;)) with some jeep road connectings.
In complete fairness to any that may want to attend this is a rocky, loose trail with many off cambers, drop offs, steep uphills and downhills. Throttle and brake control are a necessity. I don't want to scare anyone off but I don't want you to get in over your head either.
There will be a candle lighting vigil at the "Dead Kaw" ;)

What the hell does that mean???? Are you riding or not. I broke my hub last weekend and parts are on order. If she's fixed in time I'll go.....No really....stop laughing.

that would mean that i am going to go out to mm207 on saturday morning instead of crawling around four peaks.
BUT... I'll make a deal with you, IF Ricks arm is good AND your parts come in on that "epitome of reliability" then I'll go to Crosscut / Mud Springs.

I think the arm will do just fine.

It wasn't the bikes fault. Appearently if you never check your sprocket bolts and they come loose, bad things happen. I wasn't to thilled having to be towed 70 miles behind an ATK of all things either.
Rick, I think a 00-03 rear wheel will fit my bike. I know for sure a 98 won't work, different brake rotor diameters, and I'm not sure about 99.

Ummm... yeah, have you seen mine [?] Thats not JUST because i can't ride
I was just informed this morning that I WILL be working saturday, Bummer! I miss the days of working for the unions and they had to give you a weeks notice of overtime. Now I'm just a victim of the "right to work state".
Me and TJ are planning on some MX sunday in preperation for next weekends GP race in Searchlight. That is if the offer by Fist is still good to borrow his spare wheel. I'd like to ride out at the Eloy track, I haven't been there in years. Bring the green bugger out if you can swing two days out with the boys.

KAW,
You could always join myself KTMbob and a few others in trying to find the (in)famous Sycamore singletrack. How bout it WR400...wanna show us the way? It's supposed to be pretty good. Not Gnarly and technical, just fast and flowing...I have seen the turn off once, but can't remember how to find it. I know its upper sycamore somewhere..

Myself, and Dbag have ridden the Sycamore single track before. It is not very difficult at all, but very fun.
