I will be taking a little ride in the Martinez mine area. We will try Wood Pecker Mine trail if it is open. If not we will just do Martinez Mine and then on to the Coke Ovens through the Tunnel and then the river back to the trucks. Should be in the 60 mile range.
We will meet at Texaco at 9am on the 60 just south of Florence Junction.

OK, I'm for sure in on this one. Hope it rains and is nice and cool with no dust. Think positive.
This will be my first trip to the cabins so I'm stoked.
If we're taking my truck Tom, you better bring some extra clothes & shoes cuz I don't want no stinking mud INSIDE my truck.
Hope to see some familiar faces out there.

~laughing~ If he goes to the river.. mud is inevitable. No need to chance going through the tunnel.. the river is doable.

Good point Syreda. Joe you sissy ##^ b7*&^ that is what a truck is for. If you want I will drive my truck no problem. It is a real truck used for what God intended and that is to get dirty as all get out. ;)

And while we are at it. You guys who show up with washed quads all detailed and polished. I just don't get it. I ride my quad off road and the only time I clean it is when I have to work on it which is a lot actually. More power to ya guys. I need more time in front of the TV not washing quads and trucks.

Simmer down biotch...my truck is covered with desert pin-stripes.
That doesn't mean the interior needs to be coated with dirt and mud.
Remember what happened the last time you questioned my manhood?
Who is the one that said we'll get stuck if we go through that?
That's right, it was me. How long did it take to get that Bronco out of the lake? Too damn long!!

Yeah, whatever. The mud was over the axle in case you don't remember. I believe it was right at the knees while we were sludging around in it.
You weren't driving $hit out of that hole.

No did not get everyone lost.... Was not leading. We did not go to Coke Ovens by way of the steps, we went the by way of the path next to the tracks. A couple of riders said they would like to do this again and do the stair steps. So Here is the chance.

I wish I could make it guys, but Oregon is coming to town to beat up on the Sun Devils in football. I played football at Oregon and do not get many chances to see them play in person so I am going there. I'll catch you all on the next ride.

Isn't that a 7:00 game? Plenty of time to wash up and still get some grub at the Chuckbox before kick-off.

Yes you are always welcome Greg and would actually love to have you along for entertainment. I get a real kick out of those stories of yours. Like the one about the alligator who bit off you prop on your boat. That one was a hoot.

Tom, Would love to make it but I am a little geographically challenged. When is your next ride in Seattle?
Man...it's gonna be hot out there.
10 degrees cooler at Sunflower.
Not to mention far less of a chance of my rusty ass getting hurt on some God forsaken olympic bobsled route to a mine.
But then again, the only 2 times I've been to Sunflower did involve a couple of gnarly wrecks.

Well I doubt we will be getting to Seatle any time soon. How you doing up there anyway Snake. I am still waiting to hear from Greg on the upper Sycamore trail. I really don't care where we go as long as it is cooler than 95 degrees.

That mud was off the hook man. I drove in about 2 feet and that was all she wrote. My tires became big mud balls. That is some serious mud out there. HWY to Hell was total hard core but I am still gonna make it through one day. It is supposed to be one of Arizona's worst and we just happened to find it. I have the video on my site for those who want to see it. There is one shot where I came real close to flipping over backward.

Hey Matt, Sun Devil alum here. I didn't get a chance to catch the game, so I was hoping you could tell me how badly Oregon beat up on the Devils. Those are some lovely green unis, by the way. I'm sure if the Ducks hadn't thought of it first, every team would have picked those colors.
Just messin' with ya. I'm just bitter about hauling my Raptor to Four Peaks on Saturday only to have it not start. The Devils finally put together a solid game, except for the last TD. That was bush.
