I wrote this topic looking for help on putting water into the tanks of our Attitude Toyhauler. For those who have the same problem I think we solved it. We bought one of those tank filler connectors with a shut off valve and a plastic hose connected to it. We took of the 6 inch hose and put a 2 foot hose on it then put the hose in the water fill hole about a foot then put the water on full blast and that did the trick! It filled the tanks with no problem. Just thought I would share that in case anyone else had the same problem. We bought the tank filler connector at Camping World for about 4 bucks. It works great! Sounds like the vent hose is kinked. Is this a new trailer?

I still have the problem..
Yesterday I started to fill for the trip this weekend and it seemed to fill better. We'll see...lol
I made a smaller fill hose to let air escape thru the fill hole but that didn't work the last trip.
I've had mine a year and didn't bring it back for warrenty so I'm stuck to figure it out myself. I did notice that the vent line has a kink in it under the sink area where it comes thru the floor back out the side. My next step is to reroute that.
Best tip I can give you is fill it slow with a towel around the fill hole. When the gauge says full or you build up some pressure let it stand then start again until you think you have it.
I've filled it then moved it to the street and the gauge would read 2/3 full then filled it again to reach the camp site to read 2/3's again.
I bought mine at Family Van and brought it back once for the problem and feel they brushed me off. I wish I would have pushed the issue harder.. My mistake.
There should not be that kind of back pressure. If you bring it in.. Please give me a post on what the problem is....
Do you have twin water tanks??

It is a new trailer and it does have twin tanks. We called the service dept. at World Wide which is where we bought it as to not have to travel far to take it in for service. The service manager didn't have a clue and whoever he spoke with didn't have a clue either so I just hung up the phone on that call. Force fed it so the tanks did eventually fill but lots of wasted water. I will check under the sink see if any hoses are kinked up. When we get back I am getting on the phone to try to get help figuring out what the problem is. If I do find out the problem and how to solve it I will post it. Thanks for the info. Jeri

The only thing that would cause back pressure, (and if it's spitting back out the fill line, it's a back pressure problem) is a restricted vent line. Forcing water into the tank may do damage. Find the vent restriction and correct it. I had the same problem and found my vent line had too big a loop and couldn't force the water through.

They sell a (screw onto your hose) a clear plastic hose that goes down into the filler neck it also is a smaller diameter and air can go around the hose.

Cooll....
What's the part # at Camp World so I can take a look...
I also tried to force feed the water and had some seapage (Spell check) from under the sink area.
I also noticed that when the trailer is level the rear tank sits about 8" lower than the front.

Thanks Jeri,
I have found that my vent tube has a sharp bend where it comes up under the sink, and I believe the leak is at the fill input when I force it and it builds back pressure. I never see puddles under the sink area but find some water at the doorway of the bathroom on the sink side.
I found this on Ebay and was going to bid on it but I think I can put it together myself cheaper than the $35 after shipping...

my friend just called and said the factory is taking his attitude back and fixing the water problem free. they are taking off the water inlet and putting a tee into the air ventline so each tank has its own airvent line. they are also putting a new gas pump on because his is leaking onto his driveway. sounds like they are taking care of the problems for him. except the towing. he said he wants a new diesel anyway, so that ought to solve it.

That's cooll Shadow,
My vent line allready has the T in the vent line. I just need to take care of the pinch in the line where it comes up under the sink.
I also put together the fill hose just like the picture in my previous post. $15 in parts.. The cap itself was $9.45. I know I can get them cheaper on the web but didn't want to wait.
