Badger Springs

There is a turn off for "Badger Springs" on I-17 a little north of Sunset Point reststop. Does anyone know of this area? Are there trails for OHVs?

I think you can only head east a short ways to the Agua Fria River and the road ends there. Since this is a BLM Monument area you would not want to attempt running up and down the river here.

I know exactly where you are talking about, and have taken my bike out there before.
Not much to do cause it's just a short dirt road with a few little hills around it.
If you do go though, there is about a 8 inch piece of steel rod sticking up outta the ground right where the 4x4s climb the hill that was apparently put there as a tire trap so watch out for it.
It's about 1/4 mile in on the left.

Also there was a Ranger out there when I was riding and did not say anything. Just waved.
