All,

Last week ET redesigned their main, vet, and 80 tracks. The main is now called the North track, and the old vet track (called the South track) now consists of the back portion of the "old main track" plus the south end of the original vet track. Both north and south tracks are about 1 mile in length, and are pretty nice.

The dirt still is bad, but as a quad rider, I really like the inside\outside lanes on the North track, so I can keep my speed up heading into those mini doubles.

I took our BRP (XR650) Baja bike out there last sunday and had a blast. The north track is a pretty cool beginner track. It was very friendly on the beast. I got a little carried away a couple times on the red rocket and over jumped a few of the smaller jumps. That thing is like a meteor crater falling out of the sky and plowing into the earth. I had to twist the bars back up a few times.
After a couple practice sessions on the north me and the beast ventured over to the south track, and had even more fun. I really like the changes although the motoheads are less than friendly when you fly by them in the air on a 300+ pound desert sled. I got a few roost inflicted fat lips.

I do not however like the $20.00 B.S. fee. I also did not like the way they split up the practices. When it's close to 100 degrees out I like to burn a bunch of laps then go home early. I had to wait close to an hour between turns on the tracks. There is not enough people there to split it up that much. If they want it split they can combine more classes safely like the 50cc, 60cc, and 80cc. Maybe even combine the begginer bikes with the quads.

There are just like every other track now. Why not ask 20 bucks if all the others are getting it?

Yeh, but at ET doesnt give you much of a product compared to the other tracks. ET should be 5 dollars for what they offer. The other tracks provide a safe and good atmosphere with a very well prepped track.

Hey I was also out there saturday mornin on my yz 125. The North track i found to be much more fun and consistent throughout the day and the south track was nice in the morning and it just seemed to deteriorate through out the day. Some kid ate it real hard right next to me b/c of a crappy face on a jump. They need to take more care of the tracks. Also the split up was really unnecesary, i hated having to wait 30-45 between rides sitting in the hot sun while having to pay 40 bucks(me and dad) to ride. Im gonna try speedworld this weekend and see if its any better.

I didn't realize all the tracks are $20.00. Shows how much I ride around the tracks.

All tracks get tore up throughout the day, that's just how it goes. If you ever go ride in California you'll never complain about ruts in a track again in Az.

I thought ET's new layout was pretty cool. I had a blast, although it would have been funner on the 450.
