2012 Archery Javelina Season

I was fortunate enough to spend the last three weekends out on the desert NW of Wickenburg javelina hunting. While I was not successful in taking a javelina the hunt was definitely a success. One thing I like out in this area, no pollution, cold crisp mornings and very few people.

Since I knew I was going to hunt most of the season I left my toyhauler out there. Sure saves on time and fuel if you have to haul it every weekend.

We ended up taking 6 javelina out of 8 tags. One hunter even shot a nice 4X4 mule deer just before New Year's.

We saw lots of javelina, a few deer and even some burros.
