Anyone here with a wood cutting bandsaw
I need to use a bandsaw for less than 5 minutes to cut a shape from a piece of
1 1/4 inch thick mahogany.
I live in Chandler
Thanks, Steve

I have a jig saw,...they are ok for thin stock, but on thicker stock, the blade will wander and I won't get a square cut.

Well now,...no one has a band saw?
If you all must know, I took on a small funiture repair job, thinking I could go to a local cabinet shop and get a small peice of Mahogany that I paid an obscene amount of $$ for a minimum length that I have to get a part cut out from.
Places I have gone to either they don't have a band saw or don't want to take 5 minutes to cut the peice out for me.
What ever,...I may have to buy a table top band saw before it's all said and done.

Well there we have it. Now I will be able to sleep tonight. Wish I could help Steve, but I don't have a band saw.

Buy a band saw. I'm sure you will find plenty of other use for it in the future.
