UPDATE!! My buddy Jason rode Black Canyon area yesterday and Turkey Creek was flowing and everything was wet with NO DUST!! Over 3 inches has fallen in the area. Check this out: http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigw...+Flood+Warning If anyone wants to join a couple of us on a ride this Sunday July 15th, you are more than welcome. Quads, side by sides and motorcycles are welcome. We will start in Black Canyon City on Maggie Mine Road and then back to the staging area via Black Canyon south from Cleator. Here are the gps coordinates to the staging area: 34.099927,-112.147488. Or, you can take I-17 north of Anthem approximately 10 miles to Black Canyon City Exit 244. Take exit 244 west under freeway to stop sign. We will meet here at 7:00am. Staging area is less than a mile down the road. Total trip should be around 60 miles. The area got hammered with rain so there should be some mud and turkey creek should be flowing!! I have a friend riding out there today, so I will know for sure later in the day and will post here. If you are interested and want more info please text Scott at 602-722-2724

Davis8207- This ride will be at least 4 to 5 hours long. We might have some issues crossing some of the creeks as well.......or at least I will. I am on a Honda TRX 450 and obviously I don't 4 wheel drive. There are many places to check out: Antelope Falls, Cow Creek, several mines and numerous petroglyphs and indian ruins. We can extended this ride as long as we want. We can ride all the way to CK if you want to!!

You guys are nuts. On a Sunday in the middle of July go riding all day. That's crazy. Maybe on a saturday I could do that long ride, but Sunday couldn't happen. I need my rest for the upcoming work week. Have fun though and ride safe. When it's winter time or on a Saturday, let me know and you have my vote.
